Rural Health Clinics
- Definition:
- A permanent or mobile clinic which is located in a rural area which provides diagnostic and therapeutic services and supplies that are commonly furnished in a physician's office or at the entry point into the health care delivery system. The clinic chooses to participate in the federal reimbursement program.
