Variances & Waivers
Variance means permission granted by the Office of Regulatory Services (ORS) for a facility or class of facilities to depart from the literal requirements of a licensure rule.
Waiver means dispensing entirely by ORS with the enforcement of a requirement of a licensure rule with respect to a facility or class of facilities.
