The Office of Residential Child Care monitors, inspects and licenses residential child care programs.
Alert: Effective July 1, 2009, licensing and regulation of all long term care and healthcare facilities and providers is handled by the new Healthcare Facility Regulation Division in the Department of Community Health. Regulation of Residential Child Care Facilities will remain as the Office of Regulatory Services in the new Department of Human Services. For the present time, both functions continue to operate from their same physical locations, and contact phone numbers and mailing addresses remain the same, except for the complaint and incident reporting telephone numbers for Residential Child Care licensing as indicated below. For any fees or payments remitted after June 25, please be sure to make them payable to the correct organization.
